How to Make A Lavender Lemon Gin Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz lavender-infused simple syrup
  • ½ oz egg white
  • 2 dashes lavender bitters
  • Ice
  • Dried lavender sprig (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine gin, lemon juice, lavender syrup, and egg white in a shaker.
  2. Dry shake (no ice) vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds.
  4. Strain into a chilled comic glass.
  5. Dot the foam with 2 dashes of lavender bitters and drag a toothpick through to create a decorative pattern.
  6. Garnish with a dried lavender sprig resting on the rim.

Lavender syrup: Steep 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds in 1 cup warm simple syrup for 20 minutes, then strain and cool. Keeps refrigerated for 3 weeks.
