Summer Cocktails
What is the best cocktail to make in the summer? These summer cocktail recipes will keep you cool all summer long! They’re also perfect for those abnormally hot spring and fall days. I am a pretty pale person, and so I try not to over-do my time in the sun, but if I am going to sit out in the sun, it is always better with a cool beverage.
Also, “Summer” comes from the Old English word sumor, which originated from Proto-Germanic sumur– and ultimately the Proto-Indo-European root *sem-, meaning “together” or “one”. So, I challenge you to not make or drink these cocktails alone. Invite a friend or parent over. Or, show up unannounced at your boss’s house (maybe don’t). Enjoy one or more of these in the company of others, make friends, forgive each other, laugh, cry, take a walk, and then come back and tell me what you thought about your drink. I’ll be adding more as we get further into the warm months, but for now, here are a few stars of the show.
